The Tissington Trail
Q. Hi my names Mick and I have MS and need to use a chair on the shortist of walks.
My mate Stewart is fit and strong and helps me when I'm tiring as I like to propel myself where possible.
We fancy taking a look at the Tissington Trail and wonder if it would be suitable for the wheelchair and if so where would it be best to park up and join it?
We did the Cromford Canal walk last week and found it great but fairly tough in places as it was wet and the towpath rough in parts!
Will be better in the spring or summer months but was very enjoyable!
The Cafe at Cromford was fab for drinks and a bite before setting off and on our return.
I have cycled the High Peak and Tissington Trails but it was an age ago and need to take another look as I thought it was a great area to explore.
The go4awalk.com website is very good and informative and I look forward to your reply.
Thanks for your help and time

A. Hi Mick - take a look at the answers to a previous question - Wheelchair Access in The Peak District.
Hope this helps
