Coach Parking for Walks from Hebden Bridge/Midgehole
Q. I am planning a walk from Hebden Bridge West Yorks. Our group has 50+ members and we travel by coach. The group splits into ability/age routes but we would need a common drop off /pick up point and coach parking close to Hebden Bridge. Can you suggest a suitable place. I note that most walks [that go through Hebden Bridge] start at Midgehole, how far is this from the centre of Hebden Bridge. Thanks

A. The Car Park at Midgehole is about one and a half miles north of Hebden Bridge off the A6083. As far as I can recall it is down a rather narrow road with a sharp bend at the end so probably unsuitable for a long coach - though a local coach company would be better placed to advise.
If you follow this link Walks Routes Maps from Midgehole and then click on the Light Blue 'Get Directions to the start' icon included with each walk description you can see a Google Map showing the location of the start. You can zoom in and out of this map and see satellite photography of the area to give you a better idea of the local terrain and access.
Hope this helps
