Maps for Walking In Europe

Q. Hi I am planning a walk from my door in Ipswich to my wife's parents door in Pardubice, Czech Republic. The problem is I cant find any Ordnance [Survey] Maps of Europe like we have in UK?? Are there any and if there are where can I purchase them? Hope you can help.

A. Most countries produce maps similar to The Ordnance Survey Maps in Great Britain. For example The Institut Geographique National (ING) Carte De Randonnée 1:25 000 maps cover the whole of France and are similar to the Ordnance Survey Explorer Series (Orange Covers). Kompass produce 1:25 000 maps cover the whole of Germany. Have tried looking for someone online who sells walking maps for Europe?
