Mountain Walk Wiith Children
Q. we are looking for a mountaiin walk to do as a family: we have been used to walking in the lakes with our eldest children, now 8 and 6 - they are good walkers and climbers and enjoy challenges and have climbed numerous fells/ mountains over the years. Our problem is that our youngest is now 2.5 and does not want to be carried on walks but wouldn't manage the walks her brothers can (she can walk 4ish miles on the hills around us). We desperately want to keep walking up and not settle for flat walks, and also to walk together. Has anyone else been in thiis situation or have any ideas?
