Walking For The Tired!
Q. Until I reached the menopause my weekends were spent up hills and down dales. I planned to use my retirement years exploring peaks at home and abroad.
Now at 60 I haven't been on a decent walk for years and with more time on my hands would love to go out into the wilderness again. But time has not been kind, various bits of me don't work as well as they should - ankle, legs, knees, back.
Are there any groups out there or even individuals who are in a similar position.
I am not in a wheelchair but I am fairly limited in what I can take on. Would love to be challenged but need a safe environment to do it.
Good job the brain still works.
Any ideas?
