Walk to Inverie in Knoydart, Scotland
Q. Hello, me and some friends are going to walk to Inverie in September and we are trying to find a route that will take us 2 days (camping 1 night), but we are having no luck.
We are catching the train to Fort William but we don't know where our starting point will be from any ideas?
I have OS Map 413 so if anyone could tell me an ideal set off point it would be great.

A. You'd have to get to Tomdoun or to the head of Loch Arkaig, neither of which has public transport, though you could hire a taxi.It may be just possible to do it from Glenfinnan by train - you can get through to the head of Loch Arkaig from there, but it's a very long way. If you're doing something like this, in such a remote area, it's just a little worrying that you're asking the question.
