Other walkers who hiked, climbed, bagged and summited The Cheviot Fellow go4awalkers who have already walked, climbed, summited & bagged The Cheviot

David Peebles walked up The Cheviot on May 10th, 2024 [from/via/route] Monster Walk from Wedder Leap Carpark is doing 44Km circular I made. [with] Solo walk [weather] Great Sunshine. 19 Degrees bit too hot.

Caroline Winter climbed The Cheviot on July 25th, 2021 [from/via/route] Langleeford, Hedgehope Hill, Comb Fell, Cairn hill, The Cheviot [with] Becky & Andy [weather] Fog 50 M visibity, drizzle, warm & light breeze - Forecast inaccurate today, expecting good views by 1 pm, but not clear until 2.30pm, so had some views on descent. Busiest section of walk, with people walking up to do The Cheviot

Ginny Tyler bagged The Cheviot on August 5th, 2020 [from/via/route] Car Park [with] Enzo [weather] Pleasant - Chilly at the Summit

Angela Haworth hiked The Cheviot on October 29th, 2001 [with] Alone [weather] Dry

Margaret Richards summited The Cheviot on May 10th, 2010 [from/via/route] Pennine way [with] Don [weather] Sunny

Kevin Foster conquered The Cheviot on February 11th, 2018 [from/via/route] Middleton Hall [with] By myself [weather] Full winter conditions (snow & ice underfoot). Clear blue skies. - My car (not 4x4) was unable to get up the steep road to Langleeford because of ice therefore I had to start at the road junction near North Middleton which substantially increased the walk by 7 miles. A long walk in followed by a very tough climb (sinking into snow drifts the length of my legs!), I finally made the summit at just after 2pm. I figured given the conditions, the long walk back to the car & the short daylight hours I should end the walk here & return the way I'd come. I will have to visit these hills again another day to complete the Harthope Burn circuit including Comb Fell & Hedgehope Hill.

Andy Jakob scaled The Cheviot during August, 1985 [from/via/route] Pennine Way north to south

Robert Shaw walked up The Cheviot on May 10th, 2013 [from/via/route] Bagged on the Pennine Way between the 10th & 24th May 2013. [weather] Various !! - 15 days of mainly fun.

Anthony Scott climbed The Cheviot on February 24th, 2017 [from/via/route] Langleeford Farm & down the valley [with] Jessie [weather] 4 degrees. Sun & white cloud - Snow covered all over & knee deep in places

Mark Davidson bagged The Cheviot on May 30th, 2007 [with] Theresa [weather] High light cloud but not much sunshine - Clear but grey. Tried to climb it a few days before but were rained off the mountain!
