Kevin Foster hiked Knock Fell on April 30th, 2018 [from/via/route] Backstone Edge [with] Henry [weather] Sunny with partial cloud (cold breeze at times) - Carrying on in a north-easterly direction from the summit cairn (on Backstone Edge) I headed towards the shooting hut by Great Rundale Tarn. Then headed in a just west of northerly direction towards the rise of Knock Fell over rough grass (no path). The dominant feature from the summit cairn was the radar station on Great Dun Fell with Cross Fell beyond. A small tarn & another cairn eastwards marked the direction of travel to the next top of the day Meldon Hill.
