Caroline Winter walked up Bink Moss on August 31st, 2022 [from/via/route] Forest in Teesdale CP, Wat Garth, PW, noon hill side, Howden moss, Hagworm hill, Bink Moss, east along fence line, Holwick, Holwick Scars, West farm, Low Force, High Force, PW [with] Becky [weather] Warm, drizzly on moors, drier afternoon - Picked a dry day to walk this & it had been a very dry summer. Twisted my ankle on Burnhope the previous day, so decided to do a walk in & out same way. After veering off the PW to Noon hill heather, hidden holes & an undefined route made slow progress & once on Bink Moss we decided to do the circuit & face the peaty bog. We sailed along it on a raised wooden bridge, making the boggy sections a breeze. It was another day of grouse beaters joining us in the moors & we saw 2 helicopters land at Howick Lodge, presumably for a grouse shoot. The walk along the PW overlooking the falls was a delight & even though a very tiring day, we were in time for a fabulous meal at The Forestors hotel in Middleton. Wellies still on Bink Moss, found curry stool. Hagworm hill cairn now poses a sheeps skull.

Darren Mortimer climbed Bink Moss on August 18th, 2018 [from/via/route] Holwick using map du126 in reverse. [with] Dermot Palmer [weather] Overcast, warm & very windy - Wouldn't even attempt this summit without a satnav. It really is too posts with wellys on top.

Mark Hanley bagged Bink Moss on June 17th, 2018 [from/via/route] Bowlees [weather] Cloudy

Kevin Foster hiked Bink Moss on May 12th, 2018 [from/via/route] Holwick [with] Henry [weather] Sunny with partial cloud - Even the names put me off. Bink Moss, Hagworm Hill, Howden Moss, Black Beck. Anyway, putting my fears aside, I decided to do this one after a fairly dry period of weather & had a fairly pleasant walk in the end. I followed walk du126 but you can easily extend it to take in the waterfalls of High & Low Force without too much extra effort.

Christine Shepherd summited Bink Moss on May 9th, 2017 [from/via/route] Walked from High Force then followed walk du126. [with] On my own [weather] Perfect walking weather. - It's worth adding a couple of miles to walk du126 to start at High Force instead of Holwick (if you don't mind paying for the car park, £3 today). Starting & ending the walk along the river & taking in Low Force at the beginning of the walk & High Force at the end really make this a lovely walk.

Mark Davidson conquered Bink Moss on August 7th, 2008 [with] Alone [weather] Bit cloudy but warm & dry

Ray O'hara scaled Bink Moss on June 27th, 2013 [from/via/route] DU126 [weather] rain, but summit clear of cloud - The last half a mile or so is a dreadful peat bog however some kind soul has put out walking boards alongside the fence which made it a joy to traverse.

Patrick Rogozinski and Trevor Williams have both walked, climbed & bagged Bink Moss.
