The Glen Etive Hills (East) area of Scottish Region 3: Loch Leven to Connel Bridge, Strath of Orchy and Glen Lochy region is the area enclosed by an imaginary line connecting:

  • Blackwater Reservoir to Rannoch Station via Black Water to the North
  • Rannoch Station to Loch Tulla via the railway line to the East
  • Loch Tulla to Loch Etive via Abhainn Shira, Loch Dochard and Glen Kinglass to the South
  • Loch Etive to Black Corries Lodge via Glen Etive through Gualachulain, Glenceitlein, Invercharnan, Dalness & the Kings House Hotel to the North West
  • Black Corries Lodge to Blackwater Reservoir to the West


If you count only the Marilyns there are 16 tops to climb, bag & conquer and the highest point is Meall a' Bhuiridh at 1,108m (3,636ft).
