Scrambles
Q. I have recently walked to the top Snowdon via Crib Goch - see Walks
The walk was fantastic and I am looking for similar types of walk (really it's the scrambling that I am looking for).
Can anyone recommend similar walks or information on scrambling.
Thanks,
Joe, Bristol
A. Well, the North Ridge of Tryfan is quite testing in places - follow walk cw119 Tryfan from Glan Dena, Llyn Ogwen and continue West instead of turning South for Heather Terrace just beyond point 2 to gain the ridge.
Further afield, the obvious one that comes to mind is Sharp Edge in the Lake District - see Walks
Striding Edge on the way to Helvellyn has some scrambling on it - see Walks
But neither are up to the intensity of Crib Goch.
Hope this helps.
