Climbing Scafell Pike in November
Q. I am visiting The Lake District with family at the beginning of November this year, a few of us wish to go up Scafell Pike and would appreciate any advice that may be available, eg, time we should all, weather conditions etc.

A. For climbing Scafell Pike see Walks
And make sure you bear in mind that November days are short and often cold and there is likely to be snow on Scafell Pike summit.
The weather conditions in the high mountains can change very quickly - particularly in the winter months - so make sure everyone in your party has winter walking experience and is properly equipped for all conditions.
Hope this helps
