Walking St Oswald's Way
Q. I am going to do the St Oswald's Way in September. Can you tell me what ascents are involved and the maximum in a day please. Thanks.
Pamela Bell, Faversham, Kent
A. The St Oswald's Way is a 156km (97 miles) linear footpath connecting Holy Island (Lindisfarne) in Northumberland, England with Heavenfield (Hardrian's Wall) in Northumberland, England.
It is waymarked by named posts.
For some walks that include part of St Oswalds Way see Walks that include The St Oswald's Way
Hope this helps
