Dunkery Beacon is also known as an English Dewey (140th highest in England, 319th in England & Wales) and an English Marilyn (72nd highest in England, 940th highest in the UK). The summit of Dunkery Beacon is marked by an Ordnance Survey Trig Point. Dunkery Beacon is the highest point in the county of Somerset.
