Points of Interest/Notes on this walk:
The magnificent cliffs at Malham Cove are 70m (230ft) high.
When Malham Beck disappears into the ground at Water Sinks is not the same Malham Beck that emerges at the bottom of Malham Cove. It actually emerges at Aire Head some 4km further South.
Limestone Pavement like the top of Malham Cove is comprised of Clints(ridges of rock) and Grykes (the deep fissures).
