The highest point of this walk is Kit Hill at 334m (1096ft). Kit Hill is classified as an English Marilyn (116th highest in England, 1324th highest in the UK). The summit of Kit Hill is marked by an Ordnance Survey Trig Point. Prince Charles gave Kit Hill to the people of Cornwall in 1982 for their enjoyment to celebrate the birth of Prince William.
