Neil Bennett conquered Ullock Pike on July 5th, 2023 [from/via/route] Climbed the ridge linking Ullock Pike, Long Side & Carl Side. Our starting point was the car park at the Old Saw Mill Tearooms. A steady ascent through the woods behind the Ravenstone Hotel before gaining the ridge. Our descent took us past the white stones towards Dodd before winding through the forest tracks back to the car park. [with] Pam Bennett, Oliver Bennett, Thomas Bennett. [weather] Overcast to begin with, brightening up later.

[weather] Great day for it - windy to start but the sun came out there was a little heat that was wonderful. - Loved walking with someone else - very different, & I don't normally stop for a cuppa but it was fab. Tough work getting up Ullock Pike, but once that was done the rest was pretty straightforward.
