Answer a walking and hiking question

Got an answer to the following Walking/Hiking question?

Grid Reference help with Etrex 10

Hello all. I'm trying to put coordinates into my Etrex 10 for places around Lough Erne. However the references don't seem to match? For example I'm trying to locate Crom Estate with a grid reference of GR H370 238 1. I've changed position format to British Grid. 2. Map Datum shows Ord Srvy GB 3. I enter the Go To setting and the display reads: Enter Location SA 50741 BNG 89382 4. I can change these but not to the Grid Reference I need? Top line only gives me two letters to change and 5 numbers whereas my coordinates require 3 letters and 6 numbers? Sorry for a newbie question, hope you can help 🙂
