Answer a walking and hiking question

Got an answer to the following Walking/Hiking question?

Climbing Sca Fell via Lord's Rake

Has anyone information about the Lord's Rake route to Sca Fell? I believe that it is unsafe even for experienced walkers especially if in a group because of loose rock. I have heard that the Foxes Tarn route also has problems. We plan to climb Sca Fell in May.
