Answer a walking and hiking question

Got an answer to the following Walking/Hiking question?

GPS and Apple Mac Computers

I have a handheld GPS but can't use digital mapping because Garmin don't support Mac computers. Am I able to download your GPS waypoints to my Mac computer or are they specifically for PCs? Have any of your members come across this problem with digital mapping and Mac computers and, if so, have they found a solution/have any suggestions?
