Wet Arms In Waterproof Jackets
Q. In heavy rain water will run down the arms of my waterproof jackets and wick up inside. They all seem to [do] it whether it's my Dainese Goretex motorcycle jacket or Tresspass 3000mm Walking Jacket. Am I unlucky or is this a fault in cuff design?
Philip Silvester, Totnes
A. hi its just a build up of condensation from your body heat. I have a Rab Latock alpine mountain jacket & that does the same even though it is made from eVent which is breathable. I think the body heat builds faster than it can be dispersed by the eVent material!
