Montane Lite Speed Lightweight Waterproof Jacket

Q. Can someone explain the grading system for waterproof jackets?

I'm keen to purchase a lightweight jacket for walking and my favorite is the Montane Lite Speed - it ticks most of my boxes, particularly with the ability to fold away so small.

The only thing I'm unsure about is the waterproof grading of "5" - I'm not sure what this actually means. Can anyone advise?
