I am a Male Walker, in my early 60s, based near Wa11

My Message: Hello to everyone. In my mid 60s, I am inclined to sit on a comfortable rock and watch the world go by. During a walk on a nice day. I do walk all year round and enjoy the changing seasons. I backpacked round the world with a mate just a few years ago and would like to do it again. In the not to distant future.

I would like to meet people for new adventures. I'm happy to do most grades of walk. From half a day on the flat to a couple of days backpacking in the hills. Camping B+Bs Pubs or Hotels. I can do weekdays and weekends. I have a car and a Bongo. A small camper van.
As I enjoy driving I am happy to travel.

A bit more about me:

When it comes to Scrambling & Edges I'm OK with the occasional edge or scramble but don't go looking for it. I'm happy to walk in most weathers but do not like snow and ice. I like walking with dogs but do not have one of my own. I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are pretty good. I can drive and have my own Campervan/Motorhome.

Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;
Back Packing - Multi-day walks carrying all your gear & wild camping;

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
