I am a Male Walker, in my mid 60s, based near Uttoxeter

My Message: Long time walker,based on Staffordshire/Derbyshire borders. Wide experience of walking & completing long distance paths,both in the UK and abroad.
Seek every opportunity to get out walking in the hills,valleys and paths,flexible on distance,walking mileage and a good navigator.
Been long distance walking,for many years,but a few injuries in recent years,now make short to medium distance walking,more favourable and enjoyable.
I have a great sense of humour,enjoy good conversation & the tradition of a fine beverage,on finishing any walk.
Flexible to travel widely to enable good & varied adventure.
Be glad to share a walk with good walking company and enjoy the many great walking areas in the UK.

A bit more about me:

I quite enjoy Scrambling & Edges but don't like too much exposure. I'm happy to walk in all weathers - sunshine, snow, hail, wind & rain - bring it on. I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other. I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are pretty good. I can drive and have a car.

I am also interested in:

• Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
• Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
• Peak Bagging - where the aim is to climb all the hills or mountains on a particular list such as 'bagging' all the Wainwrights or Munros;

Important: For the avoidence of doubt I am definitely not looking for anything other than someone to go walking with.
