I am a Female Walker, in my mid 60s, based near Glasgow

My Message: Hi, I live in Glasgow, with my border collie Rannoch, not too far from Loch Lomond. I used to be a regular walker in my younger days and I'm looking to get back into the great outdoors but would prefer to do it with some company, so I am looking for new friends to go walking with.
In the past I did the West Highland Way three times, The Great Glen Way once. Nowadays I'm a lot slower but I find that a good thing as it means I'm out in the green stuff longer.
I'm easy going, enjoy new challenges, and always up for a laugh, life's too short to be too serious !!!
I like to play guitar, love nature, wildlife, taking photos, and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

A bit more about me:

I really don't like Scrambling & Edges - they are defintely not for me. With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs. I like walking with dogs and will bring my own. If pushed, I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are rather poor at best. I can drive and have my own Campervan/Motorhome.

I am also interested in:

Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
