A bit more about me:

When it comes to Scrambling & Edges I'm OK with the occasional edge or scramble but don't go looking for it. I prefer warm, dry & sunny weather but can cope with the odd shower. I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other. I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are pretty good. I can drive and have a car.

I am also interested in:

  • Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
  • Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .

I am a Male Walker, in my early 60s, based near Preston hoping to meet just Female new friends to go walking with.

My Message: Busy training for this years Lakeland Mighty Hike 26 miles around Ullswater followed by the West Highland Way in July. Been hiking in various areas but the lake District is an hour from me and its quite familiar to me. Lockdown shielding compounded everything for months and months on end. None of us know what lies ahead. I'm choosing to live my life the best I can in the great outdoors Anybody fancy the coast to coast next year ?? X

I am a Female Walker, in my late 40s, based near Doncaster hoping to meet just Male new friends to go walking with.

My Message: Hi, I love the outdoors and recently bought all the kit and caboodle to go wild camping but fear crept in and decided not to go alone just yet.. I'll give most things a go and love trying new things. I'd love to find someone to hike and maybe wild camp. I'd not say no to exploring more urban locations too. We've lost so much time this last year, we have lots to catch up with!

A bit more about me:

I can cope with a little bit of scrambling if it is short and there are no steep drops. I'm happy to walk in all weathers - sunshine, snow, hail, wind & rain - bring it on. I like walking with dogs but do not have one of my own. To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average. I can drive and have a car.

I am also interested in:

  • Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
  • Peak Bagging - where the aim is to climb all the hills or mountains on a particular list such as 'bagging' all the Wainwrights or Munros;
  • Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;
  • Back Packing - Multi-day walks carrying all your gear & wild camping;

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .

I am a Male Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Corby hoping to meet both Male and Female new friends to go walking with.

My Message: Just rediscovering my love of walking.
As a single man with a campervan (that doesn't sound in the slightest bit dodgy does it) I love the tranquility of being out in the countryside or on the coast with my muppet dog but I'm getting bored with my own company and would like to find local people to enjoy the outdoors with.
As lockdown comes to an end im looking forward to getting back out hopefully in the sunshine but think I am going to have to work on my fitness.

I am a Male Walker, in my early 60s, based near Widnes hoping to meet both Male and Female new friends to go walking with.

My Message: Hello I have been walking mostly in the north west and Wales.
I enjoy being up and out early especially on a Sunday morning and in pretty much any weather conditions.
Before lockdown I completed the 1st section of the trans pennine trail from southport to hadfield in 4 days, I'm hoping to complete the hadfield to hornsea section when things return to some normality. In the meantime I am doing regular 15 to 20 mile walks around my own area mostly on off road pathways so I'm looking to get to know anyone who would be interested in joining me.
