Got an answer to the following Walking/Hiking question?

Heel volume in boots

I have wide feet and bought boots 1/2 a size bigger which are very comfortable. However there is a little too much room around the width of my heel. Which insoles would be best to create width around the heel? I see a lot aimed at taking pressure off the heel - would something like this be a good idea I do not want a full insole as I do not want to reduce room for my toes.
