Lake District hiking recommendations with our Labrador

Hi, we will be visiting the Lake District with our one year old Labrador for a week in July, staying at the Hill of Oaks on Lake Windermere. I'd be grateful for any walking routes that you would recommend - We are relatively new to hiking so of course don't plan on taking on places like Scafell Pike just yet! I believe Catbells is a good start? I look forward to hearing your recommendations - thank you in advance!
