Walking Groups In Middlesbrough

Hi everybody, I was just wondering if anybody knew of any walking groups near to me ? I live in South Middlesbrough and have all the gear for walking but nobody to go with or anywhere to go as I'm sure you all know that it's unwise to walk alone, God forbid you fall or have an accident and there'd be nobody to rescue you or go for help if need be.
