Answer a walking and hiking question

Got an answer to the following Walking/Hiking question?

Yorkshire Dales Walks

Hello, I hope you can be of assistance to me. My wife and I are in our late 50s and are avid walkers/ hikers. We plan on staying in the Dales on the 1st and 2nd August and would like to know if there is a walking group doing a hike or walk that day. If not are you able to let me know of a walk - say 10 to 12kms circuit that is safe? What are the conditions in the Dales that time of the year? Do you know whether there are walking guides operating in the Dales or the Lakes District which is where we will be on the 31st July to the morning of the 3rd August.
