Does My Dog Need Boots For Walking Up Snowdon?

Hello,

We are taking our dog up Snowdon for the first time this year and are wondering whether he

a/ needs boots and

b/ does he need 2 or 4?

Last year we noticed several dogs with just two on the hind, is this enough?

He is a young dog, ridgeback cross and is throughly looking forward to his first hike! (hoping all the training will pay off!)
