Climbing Ben Nevis In September?

Hi, I am planning to walk up Ben Nevis sometime in September, am aware that the weather can change at any moment. (live on Dartmoor!) Just wondered how busy it is likely to be, (am thinking of going towards the end of that month) and how it compares to Scafell and Snowdon. Am fit, and experienced in hill walking, but will be doing this one alone. Any advice would be most welcome, thanks.
