Got an answer to the following Walking/Hiking question?

GPS Maps that can be backed up

New to GPS's for walking.

I was considering a Garmin Dakota 20 with the new GB Discoverer Full UK maps until I found out that you cannot make a backup. So, should the SD card fail just after the 1 year, one would have to shell out another £199 for new maps. NO WAY, so the whole idea is on the back burner for a while.

Does anyone know of a GPS where the maps can be backed up?
