Got an answer to the following Walking/Hiking question?

Three Peaks Challenge in late February

I'm planning to take a team of explorer scouts on a three peaks challenge in late Feburary next year but I have been looking at the warnings surrounding other similar suggestions.

My team have both a range of navigation skills at night and day and many have first aid basic training so no problem there but I am concerned about taking them up Ben Nevis just to realise that even with all of our experience that it is just too much for us.

Is there anyway of finding out if we are up to the job or what kind of training we would need to under take to achieve our goal?
