Walking/Hiking Answers: Broken Ankles
Got an answer to the following question?
I recently bought a pair of Raichle Mountain GTX Walking and Hiking Boots.
I thought they were the best I have ever had until I was descending Y Garn in Snowdonia, North Wales and had the misfortune to have the ground under me move rapidly downhill leaving me to break my leg /ankle just on the joint.
Is there anything I could have done to avoid this?
Should my boots have prevented this mishap?
Please advise . . .
