Database of Total Wainwrights Climbed
Q. I am looking for a database or a forum listing the total number of Wainwrights people have climbed. Plenty of info on 214 completers but nothing on multiple rounds or total numbers. I have done 6 complete rounds, done the four three thousanders 14 times and have done a total of 1682 wainwrights. I'm sure there are plenty of walkers who have climbed more but are they listed anywhere? Any help would be much appreciated.

A. We don't keep a database of multiple rounds - but you can record which mountains, peaks, hills, tops and summits you have 'bagged' with Your Personal Mountain, Top, Peak and Hill Bagging Record.
With it you can record when you climbed each one, who with, which route you took, what the weather was like and any other comments you wish to add to remind you that memorable day. You can make your comments available for public viewing or keep them private. You can gauge your progress using our lists or Google Maps of mountains and tops, both on a Country Level, National Park level or by individual geographical areas (like the Lake District Central Fells).
And to safeguard your data, you can save your progress as a .csv file (for opening and saving in spreadsheet software like Excel or NeoOffice).
See Your Personal Mountain, Top, Peak and Hill Bagging Record for more details.
Hope this helps . . .
