Suitable walks around Snowdon with a Baby
Q. I am looking for an interesting and enjoyable walk to do around Snowdon with a dog and a one year old in a backpack. I am a moderately experienced walker with appropriate equipment (for both myself and the nipper). The little one loves being outdoors and will be happy in the backpack for quite a few hours. I have walked up Snowdon a few times previously with a dog, but not a baby, so I am looking for something suitable and sensible, rather than foolhardy. I am staying in the YHA at Pen-y-Pass so something starting there would be ideal.

A. There are a number of shorter walks from Pen-y-Pass available via this link - Walks from Pen-y-pass and not all them climb all the way to the summit of Mount Snowdon.
Alternatively, take a look out our interactive walk selection map covering Ordnance Survey Explorer Map OL17 for some more suggestions.
Hope this helps . . .
