What are the names of the Seven Sisters Cliffs in Sussex?
Q. I know the names of the Seven Sisters Cliffs, but can you tell me 'Where the names originated from, how they came to be named as they are?. I have been through the internet and also asked in my local Seaford Museum to no avail I thankyou for your kind attention Regards Bill

A. Guessing the name comes from Pleiades in Greek mythology - the seven sisters were daughters of Atlas who held up the sky and Pleione who watched over the oceans and who were changed into stars
