Dogs and Ben Nevis
Q. We are coming on our jollies in May and just wondered is the dog allowed on the lift up Ben Nevis

A. The nearest ski lift to Ben Nevis is The Nevis Range Mountain Gondola which services the lower slopes of Aonach Mor. You can follow Walking Map h154 Ben Nevis & Carn Mor Dearg from The Nevis Range Mountain Gondola, Highland up and on to Ben Nevis via the Carn Mor Dearg (CMD) Arete.
I don't know whether The Nevis Range Mountain Gondola allows dogs or not but they regularly carry hikers, snow boarders, skiers and mud-splattered mountain bikers so I don't see why they would not take well behaved dogs on a lead. Give them a call on 01397 705825.
