At 30m (100ft), Hardraw Force is the tallest single drop waterfall in England (above ground). It lies on private ground and can only be accessed through the Green Dragon Inn in Hardraw (fee payable - this is Yorkshire!). The volume of water is relatively small so the falls are best viewed after heavy rain.
