Rucksack Hip Or Waist Belts For Women

I have been looking for a largish (65 litre) rucksack to use for weekend walking and camping.

I've visited many shops and found the information regarding where a woman should wear the hip/waist belt very confusing.

Some say around the waist, some over the hips.

Please can someone offer any advice.
