Walking/Hiking Answers: Grassy Plateau

Grassy Plateau

Many years ago whilst completing my Duke of Edinburgh award one of my many expeditions took me up a mountain in the Lakes.

Half way up the mountain was a large plateau of grass and large boulders - a perfect location for a one night camp.

I know this is probably a long shot but can anyone suggest which mountain this would have been?

I seem to recall it was one of the larger ones and think it was to the North somewhat.

If anyone can help it would be much be appreciated.
