Walking/Hiking Answers: Ankle Rash when walking in hot weather

Ankle Rash When Walking In Hot Weather

Several lady members of our local walking group suffer with a rash around the ankles when having walked in the hot weather. (The male members do not seem to have this). Can anyone explain why and suggest a remedy as it takes around 5 days before it disappears and prevents us from wearing skirts/dresses during this time as it looks so ugly.
