Points of Interest/Notes on this walk:

The Aiggin Stone is a gritstone pillar standing at nearly 4 feet high carved with an incised cross & the letters I and T.The plaque claims the Aiggin Stone is a Medieval waymarker that is some 600 years old. It also marked the boundary between Lancashire and Yorkshire.
