Points of Interest/Notes on this walk:
The Portbury Standing Stone was erected in its present position in 1987 after it had lain buried in an old dew pond in a field below the church since the 1950s. The stone is thought to date from the late Neolithic period, around 2000BC though its purpose is not clear. It's likely the stone came from Conygar Hill.
