The highest point of this walk is Mynydd Troed at 609m (1999ft). Mynydd Troed is also known as a Welsh Dewey (1st highest in Wales, 1st in England & Wales) and a Welsh Marilyn (55th highest in Wales, 753rd highest in the UK). Mynydd Troed means ''Foot Mountain'' in Welsh and is pronounced 'min-nith-trow-ed'.
The summit of Mynydd Troed is marked by an Ordnance Survey Trig Point.
