This 7¼ mile, Grade 5 (Moderate), easy-to-follow, hand-crafted walk, complete with GPS Waypoints, starts at LLangors Lake (Llangorse Lake) or Llyn Syfaddan in the Brecon Beacons & will take you about 4¼ hrs to complete.

Mynydd Troed is also known as a Welsh Dewey (Highest in Wales, 1st in England & Wales) and a Welsh Marilyn (55th highest in Wales, 753rd highest in the UK). Mynydd Troed means ''Foot Mountain'' in Welsh and is pronounced 'min-nith-trow-ed'.

The summit of Mynydd Troed is marked by an Ordnance Survey Trig Point.
