Points of Interest/Notes on this walk:
The six daughters and son of Lord and Lady Redesdale lived at The Manor in Asthall during the 1920's. Better known as 'The Mitford Sisters' Nancy & Jessica were writers, Diana married Oswald Moseley and Unity Mitford included Adolf Hitler amongst her friends.
Akeman Street, the roman road connecting St Albans and Cirencester crosses the River Windrush at Asthall.
