Points of Interest/Notes on this walk:
Appuldurcombe House is the largely ruined shell of a large 18th-century baroque country house built in 1702 for the Worsley family. It is currently managed by English Heritage.

Part of this walk follows a section of The Stenbury Trail, a 16km (10 miles) linear footpath connecting Shide, Newport in Isle of Wight, with Ventnor in Isle of Wight, England.
