Completing this walk will also take you to the top of Llwytmor at 849m (2786ft). Llwytmor is classified as a Welsh Mountain (Hewitt) (25th highest in Wales, 49th highest in England & Wales)
Llwytmor is also known as a Welsh Nuttall (28th highest in Wales, 56th highest in England & Wales). Llwytmor means 'Big Grey Hill' in Welsh. The summit of Llwytmor is marked by a rocky outcrop & hollowed out cairn.
You will also reach the summit of Drum (Carneddau) at 771m (2530ft). Drum (Carneddau) is classified as a Welsh Mountain (Hewitt) (42nd highest in Wales, 102nd highest in England & Wales)
Drum (Carneddau) is also known as a Welsh Nuttall (53rd highest in Wales, 126th highest in England & Wales). Drum (Carneddau) means 'Ridge' in Welsh. The summit of Drum (Carneddau) is marked by a large cairn/shelter.
