The highest point of this walk is Stable Stones Brow (Hoarstone Edge) at 495m (1625ft). Stable Stones Brow (Hoarstone Edge) is known as an English Bridget. Stable Stones Brow (Hoarstone Edge) is the highest point in the county of Greater Manchester.

Completing this walk will also take you to the top of Alphin Pike at 469m (1539ft). Alphin Pike is known as an English Bridget. The summit of Alphin Pike is marked by an Ordnance Survey Trig Point.
